There are 24 Elementary schools in Cedar Rapids. Each school was represented at the art show. The 3rd grade classes each made one type of item, for example, we made cars, others were, flowers, frogs, animals, art impressionists, fish, catcus, etc...
Lauren worked hard for two days on her project, she went to class for 3 hours a time to make and paint her car. Her art teacher Miss Kim, fired and glazed the project for her class.
It was kind of cute, before her car was glazed the paint looked different...she had a hard time finding her car. She knew it was a blue color, so I picked her up and she looked at each one....nope, that's not it......finally I hear "There it is!"
The yellow piece in front is a duck.......
Daddy arrived...he really enjoyed coming too!
