House Update

This is an extensive update on the progress of the house - and I will be keeping it up to date more frequently - as the progress we are seeing is daily now.....

The first day that they start to move dirt for the elevation they worked for 40 min. before the rain starting falling and they had to call it a day...

At this point the land elevation has been established and this is what the land looked like prior to any building on it....

The storm sewer pieces for the road....

OUR BUILDING PERMIT!!!!!!!! They started that day!

This picture above is the first scoop for our foundation.....

The are starting to place the footings for the foundation....

poured footings....

The forms were placed on Monday and poured Monday night !

This was Tuesday of this week....the forms are gone and here is the basement walls...

This is a picture from the back of the house looking up to the front....

Working on the plumbing for the basement and the rest of the house before the floor is poured...

Wednesday of this week they poured the floor in the basement....this was really cool!

Drain tile pictures...

Today is Friday and the house has mostly been backfilled, the garage has been filled and prepared with sand for the garage floor and driveway to be poured next week.

The lumber is sitting next to the house because they plan to on Monday - to start framing the house....

Monday of next week the engineers come to do final check on the street and Tuesday they will pave our street....

It sure is exciting to see the progress and to see that maybe we really will be in there right after Christmas!

Next week framing, a garage floor and driveway....we will see what else happens!

I have everything picked out! Thank you Jesus! Some of these decisions came easy - others not so much! But it will be beautiful that is for sure!
