Monday's Progress - 11/15/10

Here is a picture of the front of the house before they start putting siding on it this week...The middle peak was supposed to be an arch, but with a little mis-communication on all of our parts it is not going to be added....so instead we will be getting the shakes on the peaks of the house!

Here is a picture of the air conditioner attached to the side of the house..you can see where it is located on the picture above and below is a closer up shot of it.


This is all the siding and soffit materials as well as the posts for the front porch area....this is going to start soon...


Here is a picture of the temporary front door, but our door will have the same side lights and the actual door will be a two panel fiberglass door with an arch on the top panel....painted a color called fiery brown....



Here is a picture of all the can lights in the kitchen and in the entrance of the living room....there will be a wall that is not built yet in the edge of the kitchen to separate the fridge from the hallway....


The electrical has been going in and should be done by Wednesday!


This is a picture from the top of the stairs...it shows the half wall around the steps, the view from the front foyer into the living room and the sliding glass door is the dining room...


Marissa now has a window in her room....


They started framing in the basement walls....this part of the house will have a nice ledge that I will enjoy!



Furnace is complete - on Tuesday they will be installing the natural gas lines to the house and putting up the gas meter near the air conditioner - and later this week they will install the lines into the house to connect to the furnace and water heater.


It is coming along really nicely....
