9-1-1 is Always There!

Lauren's 3rd grade homeschooling class at Wright Elementary - here in Cedar Rapids - is learning about fire safety, firemen, escape planning and much more...

She was given the assignment to design a poster with a slogan - to teach about fire drills, escape planning or fire safety....

Here she is with her poster...

She was in the top five of all the posters made - and she was the only homeschooling student selected. The winner got to ride in a fire truck and won a pizza party.

She is a winner to me.....Her poster was awesome and she worked really hard on it. We are proud of you Lauren!
