The Tall Ships of 2010 in Duluth Minnesota

In August, the girls were with Gran and Papa in Minnesota for a couple weeks before we moved to Cedar Rapids.....

For a couple of years now, they have tried to take the girls to Duluth to see the tall ships, last year Grandma passed away and that did not work out...so they got to go this year...taking the bus to the port.




One of these boats was used in the movie the "Pirates of the Caribbean"

They got to eat at the tourist stop "Grandmas" everyone ate spaghetti and it was the hit of the day. Since it was quite warm, and the tens of thousands of people were there to see the ships, it was nice to be in a cool place after a long day of exploring....
