Memorial Weekend

This is one of the coolest things I have seen for Memorial day - our town lines the cementary with flags and all the streets as welll...

We have tried to instill in our children the love and respect for our country and the men and women that fight for their freedom....

We take them to the Memorial Day Services and show them what the cost of freedom is ....

How blessed we are to be in this country...free to live and worship God, and to know we are safe....

We had some friends over to roast hot dogs and smores and stuff....so here are the girls with Lazlo....

Just a fun and relaxing weekend....Danny and Bernadette were here Friday night till Monday morning...and we enjoyed time with them. On Saturday, Marissa, Bernadette, Mark and I went and saw Star Trek....that was good...we also took the kids to DQ...Yummy!

We are getting the kids ready to go to Grandma and Grandpa's for the week...I will be driving them half way on Saturday...so they are looking forward to that.

School is done for the year so we are looking ahead to what the summer will bring for fun times in the Stangl house.
